MUMBAI: The Sabarmati Report has struck a powerful chord with audiences across the nation, earning widespread praise for its compelling storytelling. While the film continues to make its impact, Honorable PM Narendra Modi watched the film in Delhi, making The Sabarmati Report, the only film he has watched since becoming the Prime Minister.

Raashii Khanna also added saying, "Mujhe bahot khushi hui hai. Jab ye film sign kari thi tab bilkul bhi expect nahi kiya tha ki humaare pradhan mantri ji iss film ko itna support karenge. Pehle unhone through a tweet support kiya aur aaj unhone apne itne mushkil schedule se time nikaal kar humaari film dekhi aur unhone humein ye bhi bataaya ki ye pehli film hai jo unhone dekhi hai pradhanmantri ban ne ke baad. So i think as Vikrant said, this is a high point in my career as well and i hope jaise pradhan mantri ji ko achi lagi, jaise saare ministers ko achi lagi, i hope aap sab jo ye dekh rahe hai aap please ye cinema gharo main jaakar dekhiye bahot zaroori hai ke hum humaari history ke baare main jaane aur bahot khushi hai aaj lekhi thodi nervousness bhi hai lekhi khushi zyaada hai, thank you."
Kangana Ranaut who also attended the screening said, "It is a very important film... It is our country's history and the previous government hid facts from the people. The film shows how people played politics in such a grave situation back then."
Moreover the film's bold narrative has even earned accolades from the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Honorable Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who praised its courageous portrayal of truth. The film has also being declared tax-free in states such as Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Odisha.
