MUMBAI: Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani released on 31st May, 2013 and gave a breath of fresh air to Hindi cinema with a fresh story and a fresh perspective. Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have starred together as leads in a few movies but this movie marks as one of the best in both of their movie careers. The movie is very well connected to the young audiences be it then or now as it has a great repeat value even today and the newer generations are also crazy about it.
To everyone’s surprise, when it was officially announced that the movie is going to be re-released, fans were really hyped and all set to watch and re-watch it. The movie re-released on 10th January and has been going strong at the box office. On its 3rd day, the movie collected around Rs 2.85 Cr.
It’ll be interesting to see how the movie performs further at the box office.
