MUMBAI: Urvashi Dholakia made a name for herself in the television industry and is still ruling hearts with her amazing performances in various projects.
Years after that, Urvashi's younger son Sagar Dholakia who had followed his mom's footsteps as he stepped into the acting world.
Sagar made his OTT debut with the series Power Of Paanch.
The series is produced by Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms.
Interestingly, Sagar is also seen sharing the frame with his superstar mom Urvashi in his debut show which makes it even more special for him.
In a recent interaction with TellyChakkar, Sagar opened up on making his OTT debut and much more.
Revealing how much he was nervous initially, Sagar said, ''When I started shooting for the show, I was very much nervous. Even now, I am not quite open to interviews because it's a new thing for me. Now slowly I am adjusting and trying to get comfortable since I have chosen this field.''
He added, ''I am very much excited about my debut show. Let's see how long I go as it is my first show. This is my first show as an actor but I started working as an AD at the age of 18. So, I did one film and then the second one was when I was 21. Post that, this is where I got a chance as an actor. After Baby, there was 10 to 12 years of struggle post which I have got this opportunity.''
Sharing the screen with his mom Urvashi in his debut show was indeed special.
Sagar said, ''I am very blessed that I am sharing the screen with her. We also had a scene together. I can't even ask for anything more than this. I thought I would end up laughing while performing with her. Although I felt like laughing, I had to control myself as I didn't want to embarass her or myself in front of others.''
Power of Paanch was released on Disney + Hotstar on 17th January.
