MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role. These days, the show's track focuses on quite an interesting narrative, where the show has taken a fifteen years leap and the kids are all grown up and are living with Anupamaa and the problems surrounding her don't end. The current track focuses on the entry of the Kotari family (Prem's family), who are opposed to the Shah family, particularly Anupama and Rahi, and have advised them not to enter the house after discovering Prem and Rahi's relationship.

Rahi chooses to wed Prem rather than wait the two years for her to finish her further education because it appears that she will be brainwashed by Moti Baa. Rahi will inform Prem of this news at Kothari House.
Without the family knowing, she will sneak into Prem's house late at night and go to Prem's room. She will be seen proposing to Prem and forcing him to wear garland.
Prem is going to be astonished and will consent to marriage right away. The show will now center on Rahi and Prem's marriage celebration, which will be the major turning point.
Although Rahi will promise to give equal weight to her personal and professional lives, Anupama will not be pleased with Rahi's choice to wed Prem since she wants Rahi to concentrate on her education and goals.
