MUMBAI: Priyamvada Kant made her OTT debut with web series Bada Naam Karenge.
The series rolled out on Sony LIV on 7th February.
Bada Naam Karenge is the show which is produced by Sooraj Barjatya's Rajshri Productions.
Well, it has been a good start of the year for Priyamvada as she made her OTT debut with such a renowned production house.
In a recent interaction with TellyChakkar, Priyamvada opened up on bagging the show, her experience of working with Rajshri and much more.
Revealing her thoughts behind taking up this show, Priyamvada said, ''Being an actor, I wanted to explore all platforms because I did television for a very long time. Then I also did reality shows after that. I also did plays as well. So, I was looking out for something interesting on OTT. Whatever content which is currently seen on OTT space, I could not resonate to it. Then suddenly, I got a call from Rajshri one day. I got to know that Sooraj sir is the show runner and Palash Vaswani is directing it. When they narrated the character to me, more than that, it was the project which pushed me to take it.''
Interestingly, Priyamvada's first film which she watched was Hum Aapke Hai Koun.
She said, ''Ever since then I wanted to be an actor. So, getting an offer from Rajshri and to get a chance to work with Sooraj sir, no way I wanted to miss it. Even Palash Vaswani is so talented. They told me about the character which I have never played before.''
