MUMBAI: Ishaan Dhawan is playing a pivotal role in Colors TV show Doree season 2.
The actor is seen as Maan Thakur in the drama series which launched the second season just a few weeks ago.
Priyanshi Yadav is seen opposite Ishaan in the show and the viewers are excited to see the fresh pairing.
The actor's character is shown as a lawyer who is always in a serious mood.
It is a complicated character with a tough exterior. He's a smart but morally conflicted lawyer who has been hurt by the loss of his mother and his family's fall from grace.
He’s cynical, believing the world is all about power, and he thinks love and marriage are just illusions.
In a recent interaction with TellyChakkar, Ishaan spoke about one of the aspects of his character where Maan has a very different view when it comes to marriage.
When asked about it, Ishaan spoke about his views from Maan's perspective and also from his own perspective about marriage.
So, as Maan is shown disinterested in marriage, Ishaan also has similar views and he said, ''The similarity between me and Maan is that I don't want to get married. I am a bit scared when I see the present scenario. Maan says the same thing. So, it's not that I don't ever want to get married. There is no urgency for me to get married and end up choosing anyone. It is very important to find the right partner. In fact, I also visualize having a daughter and stuff. So, there is no pressure as such and I am just going with the flow.''
