Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji praises the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj film "In Dino Chhaava Ki Dhoom Machi Hui Hai"

MUMBAI: On February 21, Prime Minister Narendra Modi complimented the recently released movie Chhaava, which is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, during the 98th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan in New Delhi. He said, "In dino to Chhaava ki dhoom machi hui hai," highlighting the film's increasing popularity across the country.

"It is Maharashtra and Mumbai that have given a new height to Marathi as well as Hindi cinema," Prime Minister Modi said at the Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan in New Delhi. Furthermore, Chhaava is currently causing a stir across the nation (In dino to Chhaava ki dhoom machi hui hai). It was Shivaji Sawant's Marathi novel that introduced Sambhaji Maharaj's bravery in this fashion.

With Vicky Kaushal in the lead role, Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale, Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb, Diana Penty as Zinat-un-Nissa Begum, Ashutosh Rana as Hambirrao Mohite, and Divya Dutta as Soyarabai, Chhaava was produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films and directed by Laxman Utekar. Since its February 14 release, the movie has generated a lot of positive feedback from viewers and has made over ₹310.5 crores globally.

As Chhaava enthrals audiences nationwide, it pays homage to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's unwavering spirit and makes sure that his tale reaches and motivates future generations.
