India is a place where women are looked at with a very different perspective, especially when she separates from her partner. How did you deal with this throughout your journey so far? What message would you like to give to single women?

This is called hypocrisy. Anything happens, they blame the woman. People treat you as if you are severely ill with a deadly disease. We talk about equality. We are living in the year 2025 and still talking about equality and we don't get it.

You need a partner and you need a male figure to support, be it a father, son, husband or your boyfriend. This is God made. When two people don't get along, I took that stand because self-respect is very important.

It was not easy as when my first marriage was broken, people had their own judgements. When my second marriage also broke, again people judged me. Now people think I am a single woman, making money, working hard, they think I don't have brains. But I am a B.Com student and a cost accountant, I know where to exactly save and invest money. I value money and time. I am in this line, it doesn't mean I am a dumb person. People pass a lot of judgements but it's very easy to do that. Thanks to my dad, he always told me not to listen to anyone and don't react. That attitude has come into my life.

My daughter sometimes comes to me and tells me how people react and I tell her, 'Do you know your mother and what has happened in her life? I don't care what people say.' I tell her to never get hurt by any judgments.

This is my message to all women, live your life. I tried my best to save my marriage but if it didn't work out, I couldn't force myself. But I had that strength to deal with it. I can say it was not easy, but I am a fighter, I am a lioness. I give time to my kids. I don't care about what people say. I don't owe any explanation to anyone.
