According to Abhishek, who talked about his unusual experience on the show, "I never thought I'd be the one putting my feet in kumkum and executing a great Griha Pravesh! However, that is the reason Jamai No. 1 is so revitalising. In the most amusing way possible, it subverts expectations. Not only are these times enjoyable, but they also prompt reflection on the reasons behind particular customs. I've loved every second of the rollercoaster that has been playing Neel!
