MUMBAI: Maha Shivaratri, one of the most revered Hindu festivals, is celebrated annually in honor of Lord Shiva.
This auspicious occasion marks the divine wedding of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and is also believed to be the night when Shiva performs his cosmic dance, the Tandava.
Devotees across the world observe this sacred festival through deep devotion, fasting, prayer, and meditation.
Many stay awake throughout the night, chanting Lord Shiva’s sacred Panchakshara mantra, “Om Namah Shivaya.”
Temples resonate with the recitation of the Shiva Chalisa as devotees immerse themselves in the spiritual fervor of the night, seeking divine blessings and enlightenment.

The actor said, ‘ Everyday is a day dedicated to him the reason been almost two decade ago when I went first to Mahakal, I surrendered to him so for me my existence is with him it’s like a co-existence thing with him so every day for me is his day, But obviously today is loadess Parvati and Loard Shiva’s marriage anniversary and it’s a special day. The whole positioning of the universe in the planet, it’s a very important day as today there is a lot of high energy. I did sadhna in the morning and I will do in the night once again and I will go to the temple do a puja’
