The actor said “It’s not surprising at all. We all are coming back with another big show from Gul Khan mam. For the first time on television, a hot, male dayan has been shown. Otherwise, it's always been female dayans. Khushi and my chemistry was so over-exposed that when we came together again, it shouldn't have left any reminiscence from our previous collaboration.”
He further shared an interesting anecdote, saying, “Even my mother called and told me that her neighbours said they couldn't believe we're the same couple from Aashiqana. We're playing it so differently, and we're presented so differently.”
Wrapping up his thoughts, he added, “I always had this gut feeling it would work well because Khushi, I, our director have all returned after four years together, and we've gone all out to give it our best.”
