MUMBAI: Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama has captivated audiences with its enthralling tales of the legendary court poet and master strategist, brilliantly portrayed by the talented Krishna Bharadwaj. In this new chapter, Tenali returns to Vijayanagar to protect it from an impending danger foretold by Kali Maa (Barkha Bisht).
The devious Girgit Raj (Sumit Kaul) has already revealed his sinister intentions of destroying Vijayanagar by unleashing a giant elephant to wreak havoc. Now, he has an even deadlier ally—Vishkanya Laila portrayed by Pavitra Punia. Disguised as a dancer, Laila enters Vijayanagar with a hidden motive—revenge for the injustice done to her. While her ultimate target is King Krishnadevaraya (Aditya Redij), her first attack leaves Timmarasu (Amit Pachori) critically injured, setting the stage for an intense battle of wits and power. As the main antagonist of this story arc, partnering with Girgit Raj, Laila’s arrival threatens to shake the very foundation of Vijayanagar.
