MUMBAI: K-pop heart-throbs NCT are turning up the heat with a sultry new office worker theme in their hit mobile game, NCT Zone.
Take One Co has unveiled the latest update, featuring the band members in sharp suits, dangling ID badges, and – in a move that’s sent fans into a frenzy – seductive spectacles that have even Mumbai’s fashionistas swooning.
"It’s giving Fifty Shades of K-pop," gasped one Indian fan on social media, as downloads reportedly surged across Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore within hours of the announcement.
The update coincides with a series of exclusive offline events. From 14 to 30 March, Japanese fans can immerse themselves in the Neo University Party in Tokyo, while Seoul’s Gangnam district will host the provocatively named NCT Zone Club Experience from 20 to 23 March at Kyuu Café.
NCT Zone will also make an appearance at the band’s Wish Asia Tour Log in Seoul concert from 21 to 23 March, where fans can engage with their virtual idols while watching the real performers light up the stage.
The smart money is on an Indian tour announcement soon, as insiders note NCT’s growing Indian fanbase – with local choreographers reportedly studying the group’s moves for inspiration in future Bollywood routines.
Players can climb the corporate ladder until 9 April through an archive event, with the chance to win autographed Polaroids of the boys looking boardroom-ready – adding a whole new edge to the term "performance review."
With their blend of charm and cheek, NCT are proving that office life has never looked so enticing.
