MUMBAI: Fitness doesn’t have to be complicated it’s all about showing up for yourself every day. Savi Thakur, who plays Rudra in Sun Neo’s show Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri, recently shared insights into his fitness routine. Despite his busy acting schedule, Savi prioritizes staying fit and believes in maintaining a healthy balance between work and wellness.

Talking about how he balances his intense shooting schedules with staying fit, Savi shared, “Balancing a demanding acting career with fitness requires planning. I treat workouts as essential appointments, scheduling them into my calendar to ensure consistency. This approach helps me maintain regular exercise despite unpredictable work hours. Flexibility is key. I design adaptable workout plans that can be modified based on my daily schedule. For instance, on particularly hectic days, I might opt for shorter, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) sessions or focus on bodyweight exercises that can be performed anywhere.”

He further shared how he fuels his body the right way, “Nutrition is foundational to my overall well-being. I emphasize consuming whole, nutrient-dense foods that provide sustained energy and aid in recovery. Proper nutrition supports my physical performance and enhances mental clarity, which is crucial in my line of work. Regular physical activity has a profound impact on my mental health. Exercise serves as a stress reliever, boosts my mood, and enhances focus. The endorphins released during workouts help me maintain a positive outlook, even during challenging times.”

The Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri actor further said, “There is an inherent expectation in the industry to maintain a certain physique. However, I focus on health and strength rather than conforming to external pressures. By prioritizing my well-being and setting personal goals, I navigate these expectations in a way that aligns with my values. First, consistency is more important than intensity. Establish a routine that you can maintain over time, even if it starts with modest workouts. Second, find activities you enjoy. Fitness should be fulfilling, not a chore, so explore different forms of exercise to discover what resonates with you.”

Talking about the small but mighty lifestyle choices that keep him going, Savi shared, “Balancing fitness with an entertainment career involves integrating healthy habits into daily life. I make conscious choices, such as taking the stairs instead of the elevator, staying hydrated, and ensuring adequate rest. By weaving these practices into my routine, I maintain my health without compromising professional commitments.”
