MUMBAI: The latest ratings report from the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) has just been released, offering a fascinating insight into the ever-evolving landscape of Indian television.

This week’s chart showcases a mix of impressive climbs and unexpected downturns, leaving both viewers and industry analysts abuzz with speculation.

Among the standout performers this week, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Advocate Anjali Awasthi have seen a remarkable surge in viewership.

Their rising popularity reflects growing audience engagement and renewed interest in the content and characters.

In contrast, shows like Parineetii, Ram Bhavan, and Jhank have experienced a noticeable dip in ratings. Once steady performers, these serials appear to be facing challenges in maintaining audience attention this week.

Similarly, long-running favourites Bhagya Lakshmi and Kumkum Bhagya have also seen a downward trend, suggesting the need for fresh twists or narrative shifts to reignite viewer enthusiasm.

Topping the charts yet again is the ever-dominant Anupamaa, continuing its reign as a fan-favourite. Following closely behind are Udne Ki Asha, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, and Advocate Anjali Awasthi, rounding out the top five in this week’s viewership rankings.
