Drama, Dysfunction, and Damage - A Different Kind of Chaos Reigns As Sunil Grover Enters the World of Rana Naidu

Sunil Grover, Rana Naidu

MUMBAI: Jab brawn, brooding aur badass Rana takraata hai shaana Sunil Grover se, tab hota hai asli dhamaka! In a wild crossover nobody could’ve predicted, Netflix dropped a banter-filled video featuring Rana Daggubati and Sunil Grover — and it’s nothing short of chaos. The dark, gritty world of Rana Naidu suddenly found itself gatecrashed by Sunil’s signature madness. And Rana? Let’s just say he wasn’t ready.

Sunil Grover, never one to enter quietly, said, “Rana Daggubati and I in the same frame? Even I didn’t see that coming. Rana Naidu is this intense, gritty world full of power moves, family drama, and action, and then I walked in with my own brand of chaos. The moment Netflix pitched it, I knew it would be madness in the best way. What we shot was wild, unpredictable, and way too much fun. It felt like two completely different worlds crashing together - and somehow, it just clicked. Rana Naidu Season 2 is bringing the drama… and a little bit of mayhem too.”

It’s not a cameo. Definitely not your usual collab. It’s one of those what-is-even-happening moments that leaves you laughing - and weirdly wanting more. Rana Daggubati shared, "When Sunil Grover shows up, you just know things are about to get… unpredictable. One minute I’m brooding like Rana Naidu does best, and the next, I’m dodging punchlines instead of punches. Netflix threw us into this wild little experiment — and honestly, it was chaos I didn’t see coming. We may not be co-stars, but for those few minutes, our worlds collided in the most absurd, hilarious way. And if that doesn’t get you curious about Season 2, I don’t know what will."

Produced by Sunder Aaron and Locomotive Global, Season 2 of Rana Naidu is created by Karan Anshuman and directed by the trio - Karan Anshuman, Suparn S. Varma, and Abhay Chopra. The creators assembled the dream team this season: Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh Daggubati are back, and they’re bringing in the big guns with Arjun Rampal, Surveen Chawla, Kriti Kharbanda, Sushant Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, and Dino Morea. Let’s just say… the drama, dysfunction, and damage control are all dialled up.

Catch Rana Naidu Season 2 from June 13 — only on Netflix.

This season, anything can happen. Clearly.
