
MUMBAI: Get ready for a thrilling ride of betrayal, strategy, and suspense as The Traitors makes its highly-anticipated debut in India.
Premiering on 12th June exclusively on Prime Video, this gripping reality series will drop new episodes every Thursday at 8 PM, promising edge-of-the-seat drama every week.
Hosted by the ever-charming and sharp-witted Karan Johar, the Indian version of the international phenomenon is poised to take the reality TV scene by storm.
Adapted from the critically acclaimed format that has captivated audiences in over 30 countries — bagging BAFTAs, Emmys, and a cult following along the way ‘The Traitors India’ is set to bring the ultimate game of deception to Indian screens.
Set against the backdrop of a stunning palace, the show brings together 20 contestants for a high-stakes social experiment.
However, not all is as it seems. Among these players hide a handful of Traitors, secretly selected by the host. Their covert mission? To manipulate, mislead, and eliminate the Innocents, all while keeping their true identities hidden.
If the Innocents succeed in uncovering every Traitor, they share the grand prize but should even one Traitor remain undetected, they claim the entire pot.
The cast reads like a who’s who of entertainment and digital fame, featuring names such as Sudanshu Pandey, Raj Kundraa, Jannat Zubair, Karan Kundrra, Uorfi Javed, Maheep Kapoor, Rebel Kid (Apoorva Mukhija), and Jasmin Bhasin, among others.
During the trailer launch of the show Uorfi and Sahil Sarathia were present as confirmed participants of the show where Uorfi revealed who her biggest threat is.
Uorfi Javed said, “Mujhe sabse bada khatra Sahil lag raha hai. I think Sahil is the biggest threat.”
Well, it’ll be interesting to know how Uorfi and Sahil perform in the show.
