Amar Upadhyay's hosting stint ends in Life OK's Savdhan India

One man’s loss is another man’s gain!!! Ask Amar Upadhyay and he will tell you more about it. The tall and talented actor, who burst into the popularity space playing Mihir in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (Star Plus), found fame embracing him again as a contestant on Colors’ Bigg Boss. His recent assignment was hosting Life OK’s Savdhan India. But all his fans will be a tad disappointed to learn that he will no longer be seen anchoring the series. Yes, with Atul Kulkarni coming in, his role has ended. Said a source: “He had a three months contract with the channel which ended in June (2013). Episodes featuring him aired till July. Now the bank has been spent and Amar’s contract has not been renewed. Everyone enjoyed working with him.” We called up Amar to learn more. “Yes, since I just had a three months contract with them, you won’t get to see me in the show anymore.” Amar had also shot for an episode of Police Dial:100 but later the makers decided on running the show without a host.
