Ashique Biwi Ka on DD

A new show Ashique Biwi Ka from Hats Off production house is going to be launched next month on DD. The show has experienced actors like Neena Gupta, Kanwaljit Singh and Amita Nangia. Neena Gupta and Kanwaljit Singh along with renowned writer Brij Katyal who has written Saans, Siski andSonpari besides a host of hit golden era films like Jab Jab Phool Khile, Kismet have come together for this serial. Executive producer Sudhir says, “the pot of this serial is about a rich widowed father who wants to get his spoilt daughter married. His daughter is an outgoing party animal who dreads getting married. The father is suffering from a disease that he hides from his daughter until one day when he collapses and dies. After his death he leaves behind a will which has a clause saying that till the daughter does not tie athe knot she will not get her father’s property and more over she will get only Rs.10, 000 a month for her expenses. To know how the girl overcomes this ordeal people will have to wait.” Sudhir is the executive producer of Ek Packet Umeed as well. The time slot has not been finalised yet. Amita Nangia and Sheela Sharma who are playing the role of a Bua to Kanwaljit’s daughter flirt with the boys who come to see the girl. Neena Gupta is playing the role of the girl’s mother who is dead. The cast comprises of Kanwaljit Singh, Neena Gupta, Sheela Sharma, Amita Nangia, Taran Marwa, Rohan Jaywanth and Varun Sethi. The girl who will be playing the lead character of Kanwaljit Singh’s daughter has been replaced. The production house is looking for a replacement.
