A 'Rakhi moment' between Rajeev and Pradeep on the sets of Maharana Pratap

Rajeev Bhardwaj and Pradeep Kabra
Raksha Bandhan is a cute brother-sister bonding wherein the sister ties Rakhi to her brother and prays for his well-being and in return gets loads of gifts from him. But what if the brother cannot make it to meet his sister on the D-day? Well, actor Rajeev Bhardwaj who essays the role of Chundawat in Sony Entertainment Television’s Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap (Contiloe Telefilms) experienced a similar dilemma couple of days back on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Since the actor is busy shooting for his Sony TV show, he could not make it to meet his sister. Hence his sister saw to it that she couriered her Rakhi to Mumbai. The production team of his show got the Rakhi collected and brought it to the sets at Aamgaon. Aah, what a cute gesture. And Rajeev we hear, was excited on seeing the Rakhi sent by his sister. He immediately called her, wished her, prayed for her and went ahead to tie the Rakhi as he was conversing with her on phone. However, Rajeev found that he needed a person’s help to tie the Rakhi. And guess what? The man who came in as a saviour was none other than Chundawat’s bitter enemy Shams Khan. Actor Pradeep Kabra readily agreed to help him, and jumped to tie the Rakhi on Rajeev’s wrist. And we hear, it was a scene to watch!! Talking about it, Rajeev told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, it was a memorable moment for me when the production team helped me in getting my sister’s Rakhi. And what’s more, I went on to celebrate my off screen brotherhood with my on-screen enemy (smiles). When Kabra volunteered to tie Rakhi, my Executive Producer Amit came in and jumped with laughter seeing the scene. And people present on the set happened to rush in to enjoy the moment. It was hilarious to the core. When my sister got to know of this, she congratulated me on getting a ‘new deadly sister’.” The members of the Maharana Pratap unit also went on to click the amazing Rakhi moment that unfolded between Chundawat and Shams Khan (check the pic above). A moment to remember, for sure!!!
