Vinay Jain not Manav Gohil is paired opposite Gautami Kapoor in Zee TV's Aankh Micholi

Earlier in the day we wrote about Zee TV launching its new fiction venture, Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi produced by Esselvision. The show marks the return of Gautami Kapoor on the tube. Now certain sections of the media reported that Manav Gohil has been cast opposite Gautami in the show. As mentioned, Manav will play an AIDS patient. But here we need to rectify certain facts. Manav is indeed a part of the show but he is playing a different character. It is Vinay Jain who will be seen opposite Gautami and Manav will play the role of Vinay’s friend. Vinay – who is playing Ulka Gupta’s father – will be seen as an AIDS patient and will die soon. Manav’s character will be shown supporting the family after Vinay’s character’s death. The talented actor Vinay (seen in Jassi Jassi Koi Nahin and Remix) confirmed about his role. Furthermore, the producer of the show, Nitin Keni confirmed, “Vinay will be seen as the AIDS patient who will die after some initial episodes. The show will move only after his death and Manav will be seen as his friend.” The show goes on air from 9 September at 10 pm every Monday-Friday.
