Soumya Seth replaces Anupriya Kapoor in Bindass' Yeh Hai Aashiqui

Anupriya Kapoor, who is even today known for her lead role of Taani in Star Plus’ Tere Liye was to play a Muslim girl in Vikas Gupta’s episodic story for Yeh Hai Aashiqui on Disney Bindass. The show which is the #1 youth based show is produced by Lost Boy Productions and BBC Worldwide Productions. However, there is a last minute change here. We now hear that instead of Anupriya, Soumya Seth who was earlier seen in Vikas’ The Serial will play the central role. As we had reported earlier, Karan Sharma of Pavitra Rishta fame will essay the Hindu boy in this religion-based love story. The story will revolve around the manner in which the boy and the girl breaks all shields of religions and live their life happily. When contacted, Soumya Seth confirmed that she is shooting for Yeh Hai Aashiqui. “This is the first time that I will be playing a Muslim girl in my life. I will be seen in burqas in this interesting story. I have earlier worked with Vikas in The Serial. His works are exceptionally brilliant and I am happy to be part of Yeh Hai Aashiqui.” The shoot for this episodic is presently on. Anupriya could not take up the project due to date issues and in most probability she will work for the show in one of its upcoming episodics in the future.
