MUMBAI: Aishwarya Sakhuja is one of the most popular actresses of the small screen.
The stunning diva has been a part of many hit TV shows like Rishta.com, Saas Bina Sasural, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Main Naa Bhoolungi, Khidki, Trideviyaan, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai: Take 2, Chandrashekhar, and Yeh Hai Chahatein.
Her last screen appearance was in Colors TV show Junooniyatt where she played the role of Dr. Pari Ahuja.
She was also a contestant on Nach Baliye 7 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7.
Well, Aishwarya has been away from small screens for a very long time and now all set to be back with her new show Udd Mat Zyada on Colors TV from 8th March.
We all know that Aishwarya has seen different sides of the showbiz industry and has quite a lot of experience of how the industry functions.
From the TRPs of the shows to the reality shows which are turning out to be fake or scripted, Aishwarya shared her thoughts on the same.

Revealing her thoughts on the TRP game which was quite high back in 2000s and it is barely a competition to those times, Aishwarya said, ''Yes, the TRP game has gone down and it is also because of the overload of content which is available on our TV screens and on the palms of our hand. Be it Instagram, OTT platforms, there is way too much content that is being consumed. The distribution of numbers will obviously take a toll and has taken a toll. I think that is why the TRPs are not reaching up to that mark.''
Furthermore, sharing her views on reality shows being real or scripted, Aishwarya said, ''I think every genre has its own place. I think reality shows have gained the importance that it possibly deserves. I really can't comment on Bigg Boss because I have really never been a part of it to know how it works. Since I am not a part of it, how do I even comment on it?''
The movie industry is going through many changes. However, in recent times, a lot of action/thriller/murder mystery and such content is being made while love stories, family dramas have faded away.
When asked Aishwarya if this could be the reason why big-budget movies are tanking at the box-office, she said, ''I am a movie fanatic and I would have loved for the films to be doing well as it did earlier. Unfortunately, the Hindi film industry is right now suffering. That's why we have the old films coming back and being re-released. Yes, there are barely any love stories or family drama being made. We can see more action/thriller and murder. Like I said, every genre has its own time for it to peak and possibly that's why right now, the flavour of the season is action, thriller or murder. But love stories are here to stay. Laapata Ladies was a beautiful film and it made it's impact when it comes to having a concept of simple storytelling in the genre of love stories.''
