Simon Cowell surprises everyone by showing his soft side on The X Factor USA Season 3

The news of X-Factor judge Simon Cowell expecting a baby boy with girlfriend Laura Silverman has been doing the rounds in the media for quite a while now. With co-judge Kelly Rowland already reinforcing the fact that Simon will be a pretty cool dad, fans got to see a glimpse of his softer side during the auditions of The X Factor USA Season 3. The usually sharp-tongued and blunt judge surprised audiences when he commented he was reminded of himself upon meeting a contestant’s young son. Simon Cowell along with Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio is currently judging The X Factor USA Season 3 on BIG CBS LOVE. In a tender moment on the show, Simon saw his unborn son in a contestant’s young one and expressed his fatherly affection for the little child. Not just that, Simon even gave the contestant another chance to impress the panel after the contestant gave a disappointing performance. Is his impending fatherhood making him a nicer person? Apparently, the contestant’s little son ran on stage to give his father a hug and had a witty conversation with all the judges to which a surprised Simon to exclaimed, “That must be my son!” The episode will air tomorrow.
