Pritam to judge a rock band show for MTV

MTV's soon-to-be-launched reality show scouting rock bands is expected to go on air November. Prior to this, MTV Rock On will begin its auditions next week onwards with singer-composer Pritam judging the show. A source says, "We are about to start our auditions from next Thursday. Pritam has agreed to be one of the judges. This is for the first time he will be judging a rock show. We have tried to give the show a desi flavour. Ayushman Khuranna is going to host the studio episodes as well as the auditions. We are going to cover every major city of India and Delhi will be where we start.” Ayushman remained unavailable for comment. This is MTV's first attempt to provide a launch pad for rock talent in India. It is said that Kailash Kher and Nikhil Chinappa are also going to be part of the show. Meanwhile, the channel is also approaching other singers and composers to judge it.
