"Unless I have envisioned every single character and every song, I don't move forward. I don’t rely on choreographers—I sit, I picturize, I ensure everything is written down. Komal Ji, I’m not a visual director like Sanjay Leela Bhansali; he is a master. I am, at heart, a storyteller. For me, what unfolds in every beat is what truly matters."
Despite his rare film releases, Barjatya remains immersed in the world of entertainment, actively developing OTT shows and television projects. Acknowledging the time-intensive nature of his craft, he shared, "That’s why it takes me five to six years to make a film. But I’m trying to reduce that to three years now. We are also working on TV and OTT projects. Whether a film is a hit or a flop, what matters is that it feels worth it for our banner."
