Indira Krishnan who is currently selling khakhras as Krishnaben in Sony’s newly launched show. We hear, Krishnan is a linguist and loves to learn new languages. She already knows seven languages and now thanks to Krishnaben, she has learnt Gujarati too. Laughs the actress, “Wherever I go and whoever I interact on a daily basis, I often try learning their language. So while doing this serial, I not only had to adopt the body language of the Gujarati Krishnaben, but also had to use Gujarati words because there is a fair smattering of those words in the dialogues. The producer Asit Modi is a Gujarati and frequently uses the language while talking to it. “I already knew Hindi, English, Marathi and Tamil which is my mother tongue, Telugu, Oriya and Malayalam. Now I know Gujarati too.”
