MUMBAI: Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, a beloved singing reality show in India, continues to captivate audiences with its perfect blend of talent, entertainment, and inspiration. With only about a month left until the finale, the competition has become more intense than ever, keeping the nation glued to their screens as they cheer for their favorite contestants. Under the expert guidance of mentors Sachin-Jigar, Sachet-Parampara, and Guru Randhawa, raw talent is being transformed into stellar performers.
This weekend’s episode promises to be a musical delight as the legendary Mika Singh graces the stage with his charisma, making it a night to remember. The contestants brought their A-game to impress Mika and the mentors, but it was contestant Riya’s electrifying performance of Subha Hone Na De that stole the spotlight. Mika was so impressed by her energy and style that he joined her on the stage to sing a few lines and called her the ‘female version of Mika Singh’ leaving Riya beaming with pride. Adding to the excitement, Mika shared a surprising anecdote about the iconic track, revealing that the song was composed and released four months after the movie ‘Desi Boyz’ had already hit theatres. Well, isn't that a revelation!
Mika said, “You truly are the female version of Mika Singh! And there’s an interesting story behind this song that not many people know. Subha Hone Na De went through so many changes during production, that at the end, the movie was actually released without it. But we didn’t give up on the song. A few months later, about four to be exact, we decided to release it separately. To our surprise, it became such a massive hit that people started believing it was the title track of Desi Boyz!”
To know about more such fun stories and revelations by Mika, tune into Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, this Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM, only on Zee TV!
