I am most comfortable in T-shirts, shorts and sport shoes: Smriti Kalra

Smriti Kalra
The young and gritty Smriti Kalra who was last seen in Channel V’s Suvreen Guggal is on a leisurely break these days. Though not very glam, the talented actress is a very down to earth person. Most comfortable in T-shirts, shorts and sport shoes, Smriti defines fashion her own way. Fashion is: According to me, fashion is being comfortable in whatever one wears. Who chooses your clothes? I choose my own clothes. Do you wear accessories? Only at certain occasions. Do you follow any brands? I am more of this person who is comfortable in T-shirts, shorts and sport shoes. I have a variety of sport shoes of different colors and my favourite brands are Nike and Adidas. Favourite shopping destination? Since I am from Delhi, I love shopping at the DLF Promenade and Select Citywalk. Also Dubai is an excellent shopping destination. Your most expensive buy? I am really not that kind of person who is very glam. I buy whatever makes me happy at that time; moreover, happiness cannot be priced. Clothes you are comfortable in? Ahh…as mentioned earlier, I am most comfortable in T-shirts, shorts and sport shoes. I also like wearing skirts. Must have in your wallet? Money is very important in every person’s wallet and so also in mine. Favourite perfume? I have a fetish for perfumes which gives the fragrance of rose. I am currently using one of the perfumes by Crabtree & Evelyn. Describe sale in one word? Sale is very symbolic to confusion. Currently your wardrobe is overflowing with? My wardrobe is obviously overflowing with a lot of T-shirts and shorts. Apart from that there are some dresses which I have hardly worn. You have the hardest time getting dressed for? I have the hardest time getting dressed for particular occasions such as marriages where I am required to wear heels and heavy clothes. Any fashion disaster you have come across recently? Hmm! In the shows which I have acted in, I kept cribbing about the feminine dresses which I was made to wear. People think they suit me but I think I made a complete disaster out of it. If you had to choose a fashion era, which period will it be? I love the era of the 50s and the 60s when women were clothed with beautiful dresses and edgy hats. Also the veil covering their faces made them look so graceful.
