I had a very depressing journey shooting for 2612 - Addite Shirwaiker Malik

Addite Shirwaiker Malik
Addite Shirwaiker Malik who has appeared in serials such as Baat Hamari Pakki Hai, Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Kumkum-Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, Shararat, Nach Baliye 4 and 2612 has not been seen on television screens lately. We at Tellychakkar.com contacted the pretty lady to know what she has been up to in recent times. “I have been shooting for a couple of ad films as of now. I want to do daily soaps but I am really looking out for something in comedy,” explains Addite. On her experience of being part of Life OK’s 2612, the actress quips, “Well, I have played positive, negative and comedy roles in the past. I have a problem of getting attached to the characters I play on an emotional level and it affects my personal life. In my last project 2612, I essayed a character whose husband was a victim of the serial blasts and in majority of my scenes I had to cry. I must say that though 2612 has been a memorable show, I had a very depressing journey shooting for it due to the emotional connect I had with my character. I used to reach home sad after shoot and cry at night.” “I will never forget my stint in Shararat which I took up at the age of 16. I must say I had a lot of fun in that show,” she adds. Getting back to the roles she would want to play in future, she narrates, “I would not mind experimenting with roles if the characters are realistic in nature. I mean I do not want to play an out of the world fictional character. For example, my husband Mohit Malik, who currently essays the role of Samrat Singh Rathore in Doli Armaanon Ki, is a realistic character. These kind of people do exist in real too.” We wish the talented Addite gets her dream role soon!!!
