MUMBAI: Sony TV has long been celebrated for bringing compelling stories to Indian television screens, with iconic shows like Vighnaharta Ganesh, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, and Katha Ankahee leaving a lasting impression on viewers.
Now, as the mythological genre enjoys a resurgence in popularity across multiple channels, Sony TV is set to expand its mythological repertoire once again.
The channel is preparing to launch a brand-new mythological drama titled Ganesh Kartikeya, a project being helmed by Peninsula Pictures the acclaimed production house behind popular shows such as Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga, Paramavatar Shri Krishna, and Neema Denzongpa.

According to insider sources, well-known television actors Mohit Malik and Shrenu Parikh have been cast in pivotal roles for this upcoming venture.
While the finer details of their characters remain under wraps, it has been confirmed that the two will take on the lead roles in the series.
This will be the first time that Mohit and Shernu will be sharing screen space together.
A promo for Ganesh Kartikeya has already been unveiled and has garnered an enthusiastic response from audiences. With fans expressing their excitement and anticipation on social media, the show’s early buzz suggests it could be another captivating addition to Sony TV’s line-up.
