Gaurav Gera and Ashish Kapoor team up with friends to start an event company named Amore

Actors today do not just excel in their field but are now happily making a career away from tinsel town and showing their creativity in other ways too. Similar is the case with good friends Gaurav Gera and Ashish Kapoor. Wanting to explore world away from TV and films, and using their skills in some other way the duo have started an events company along with two other friends Hiren and Ruchit. The company named Amore will cater to organising weddings, events and parties and to kick off the company’s projects, Amore will be churning out Amore Bar Nights at Levo, Andheri every Wednesday, a night for fun and friends from 26 February. When we buzzed Gaurav on the same, he said, “I have always wanted to try my hands in wedding arrangements and since I had the time now, I decided to jump into it with friends who had experience in events. It’s real fun and I am getting to learn a lot. Creatively also its super tiring since everything needs to be interesting and eye catching, even the SMSes sent out as invites (laughs).” On the other hand Ashish maintains, “Being part of someone’s celebration is always a happy feeling and as the name suggests, it’s full of love and happiness. We friends wanted a reason to hang out and what better way than working together. Also the Bar Nights will give a chance for the fraternity people to have a good time and also meet up fellow mates every week. It will be a great place to party for sure. And after this, we will soon plan out some events.” Well we wish these actors great success.
