Umang Jain and Aditi Tailang bag lead roles in Ashwini Dheer's big-ticket show on Life OK

Ashwini Dheer’s Garima Productions as we know is making a magnum-opus period drama for Life OK, based on the classic novel by Dr. Dharamvir Bharati, titled Gunahon Ka Devta. Tellychakkar.com had earlier reported exclusively about Hatim fame Rahil Azam essaying the male protagonist. As reported by us, Shweta Salve, Rajendra Gupta and Rohitashv Gaur will be playing important roles. We now have more information on the principal cast in the show. Aditi Tailang who has played lead roles in shows like Jaane Pehchaane Se… Ye Ajnabbi, Lapataganj – Ek Baar Phir and has been part of Gulaal, Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo has been roped in to play one of the prominent characters. As per sources, the yet untitled show will see three female leads, in Shweta Salve, Aditi Tailang and Umang Jain. Umang, popularly known as the ‘Cadbury girl’ seen in the commercial ad will be playing the main female lead on the show. Umang has earlier been part of an episodic in Teri Meri Love Stories and has been seen in a major role in POGO’s show, Sunaina. When contacted, Aditi Tailang told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, I am part of Ashwini Dheer’s show for Life OK. However, I cannot talk about it ay this point of time.” We tried contacting Umang Jain, but she remained unavailable for comment. The first schedule of shoot for the show has already been shot in Banaras. And the crew will soon be embarking on their next outdoor schedule. Watch this space for more updates.
