A lot of people are taken aback by the fact that Boogie Woogie producer and host Ravi Behl is still a bachelor. In a conservative society like ours, such men are often looked upon with suspicion and are disrespected.
Clearing the air about him, Ravi says "A lot of people are surprised that I'm still unmarried. It's not that I haven't tried. I was seeing a girl for a long time but unfortunately our relationship didn't blossom into marriage. We had our differences."

There always are many fishes in the pond. So, didn't Ravi look elsewhere? He replies, "After my break-off, I was left disheartened. My predicament can be best described by the popular Hindi proverb 'doodh ka jala chaas bhi phook phook kar peeta hain"
It's difficult to get the English translation right but this Hindi proverb can be best compared to the English saying 'once bitten, twice shy'.
While there's not much to write about his personal life, Ravi's professional life is filled with gains. His 11-year-long show Boogie Woogie is set to go international. Speaking on this development, the producer says "This just gives us the chance to expand our horizon. Boogie Woogie can now reach to more people"
Apart from Boogie…, Ravi is also contemplating on producing a treasure hunt show.
For someone who started his career with three successful films, Ravi's early exit from Bollywood surprised one and all. "I gave three hits, Narsimha, Agnisakshi and Dalaal. After that I took Boogie as a part time assignment. To my surprise, this show became a huge hit. It brought fame and money for me. Also, working on television brought me financial stability which Bollywood wouldn't have given me. Thus, I chose to stick to television"
People want Boogie Woogie to last for an eternity. How will Jaaved, Naved and Ravi fare as 50-60 year old judges? "I can imagine us with sticks in our hands. We'll adjudicate but definitely will not dance. That's thinking too far ahead. I've left everything to God" quips Ravi.
Here's praying for many more episodes of Boogie Woogie and also a soul mate for Ravi.
