I was not very keen on becoming an actor - Tiger Shroff

Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff's beloved son is gearing up to make his silver screen debut with Heropanti. But guess what? The 23 something youngster was not really keen on taking up acting initially. Revealing this at Heropanti's trailer launch, Tiger said, "I was never too keen on becoming an actor. Sports interested me and I excelled at it when I was in school and college. But as I was growing up, a lot of people especially family friends started asking me, 'So when is the D-day arriving, who has signed you.' So, in a way, others had already decided for me and labelled me as an actor without even asking my opinion.” But that is not saying Tiger never wanted to act. By his own admission, acting was there somewhere at the back of his mind always. And after graduating from college, Tiger decided to pursue it with full vigour. “Right after graduation, I started getting a lot of offers. I started thinking as to what separates me from other actors. I thought I am physically gifted, am a good athlete and can dance well. So I decided to bring in all these elements in to my debut movie. And I am thankful to Sajid sir (Nadiadwala) for giving me this great chance.” Well, here's wishing industry’s latest star son, a happy debut.
