Raveena Tandon and Sridevi lend their support to politicians Naveen Jindal and Amar Singh respectively

The divas of the 90s Raveena and Sridevi campaigned for their friends yesterday. While industrialist and Congress MP Naveen Jindal who is a sitting Lok Sabha MP from Kurukshetra, roped in actress Raveena Tandon as his star campaigner, Amar Singh got Sridevi and Boney Kapoor to lend his new party Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) some support. Raveena who was welcomed with garlands took part in a road show along with Naveen Jindal and his wife. Their convoy passed through Municipal Chowk, Ambedkar Chowk, Paratap Gate, Bhagat Singh Chowk, Ba-Bapu Chhatrawas Road and Kurukshetra. Predictably, the Bollywood diva was a huge draw as locals thronged in to see her creating huge traffic snarls. Raveen even gave a few short speeches wherein she praised Jindal for working for the progress of the people of his constituency and also requested voters to vote him back into power again. Meanwhile, Sridevi campaigned in Fatehpur Sikri in UP where too traffic jams were reported as people came out in huge numbers just to get a glimpse of Sridevi. Wonder, if Raveena and Sridevi would ever like to enter the political arena themselves, in future.
