Nidhi came to Mumbai to pursue her course in animation and while studying she got an opportunity to play a cameo for Maayka - Saath Zindagi Bhar Ka on Zee TV. That was the turning point in her life as Ekta Kapoor spotted her and she was offered the lead in the daily soap Kasturi. After that she has done many daily series. She feels that romantic drama is her forte.
