Sonu scores a Hat-Trick!

Sensational Sonu Nigam is ready to rock Germany, the country of Gothic architecture. The singer is gearing up for three live concerts celebrating India's 60th independence day. It's the first time that any Indian singer is performing live in the country. "Indian economy has boomed oversees just because of new era music. People all over the world are very fond of Indian music. The perception of Indian artists across the world has changed overtime. Therefore, it is apparent that people around the world want me to perform in their country even if they are simply clueless about Indian music. I am grateful to those local white French audiences, who clapped and cheered at my last year's concert in Paris. This concert is a gift to my country on its 60 th year of Independence," Sonu Nigam. It's the first time that a concert will be held at a stadium in Hamburg, Frankfurt and Essen. Meanwhile, Sonu will also be a jury member on Sony's Indian Idol in the upcoming episode (August 17) as a special guest. Sonu is to make an impromptu appearance, a surprise element for the show according to Miditech president Niret Alva. This is Sonu's first appearance after his return from the US where wife recently delivered a baby.
