Even 70-year olds call me Anna - Suniel Shetty

Actors are often called by their nicknames by their near and dear ones. For instance, Rishi Kapoor is often addressed as Chintu, Karishma Kapoor as Lolo, Kareena as Bebo, Hrithik Roshan as Duggu, Shahid Kapoor as Sasha to name a few. While only close friends and relatives reserve the right to address the above mentioned celebs by their nicknames, there are two other actors in B-town- Salman Khan and Suniel Shetty- who are addressed by one and all by only their nickname. So while Bhai signifies Salman Khan, Anna is synonymous with Suniel Shetty. Unlike Salman who hates rank strangers calling him Bhai, Suniel Shetty has no such problems. He loves it when someone calls him Anna. "I absolutely love it when someone calls me Anna instead of Suniel. It means elder brother and they say it out of respect. It only shows you how strongly people love you." Suniel then went on to reveal an interesting tidbit. "Today when I travel to remote corners of the country, anyone who meets me, calls me Anna. It's become my second name. In fact, even 70 year olds call me Anna and I find that very cute," shared Suniel. Cute indeed, we say.
