Mita, Lubna but now it's Shweta Kawatra who plays the cop in Phulwa

Shweta Kawatra will now be playing the role of SSP Amrita Tiwari in Phulwa. Initially, Lubna Salim was to play the role and it was even reported that Mita Vashisht was finalised for the character. So who is it then? A source says, “Mita Vashisht was to play a cop initially but since she had date issues the producers finalised Lubna Salim. She was called late at night and asked to report for a 7 am shoot the very next day. She turned up on the sets on time but after just two scenes she was informed there was a technical problem and they wouldn’t be able to shoot any more scenes that day. But something went wrong and Shweta Kawatra was finalised for the same part.” Lubna confirmed the same as she says, “They considered me for the show and that is sweet of them but things did not work for me there.” She refused to comment any further. Shweta remained unavailable for comment while producer Siddharth Tewary refused to comment.
