Shubomitra Sen also known as Rimi Sen was born on the 21st September, 1981. She is an Indian actress who is seen in quite a few movies. She was born in Kolkata, West Bengal. She is an Odissi dancer and performer. It si said to be that she lost like 8 kilos for her role in 'Dhoom 2' in the year 2004. Few of her successful films have been Hungama, Bhagban, Dhoom, Garam Masala and Phir - Hera Pheri. She has mostly performed supporting roles. In the year 2006, she was involved in a huge controversy when she made a racist statement at the promotion of Rohit Shetty's movie 'Golmaal'. She made her debut in the acting industry after she acted In a Telugu movie 'Nee Thodu Kavali'. She also acted very well in the movie Phir Hera pheri co-starring Akshay Kumar. In the year 2007 she appeared in the movie 'Johnny gaddar' co-starring Neil Nittin Mukesh.
