MUMBAI: Entrepreneur, explorer, content creator Gaurav Saxena, has his own YouTube channel called Beyond 9 to 5. He says that it is important for everyone to explore it, especially those who are stuck in their routine.
“I think I’ve spent more time living the 9 to 5 life than actually living my life. Now, it’s time to make every minute count. I also feel that for those stuck in a routine, my travels can offer them a window into another way of life. Through my experiences, they can live a little, escape the monotony, and maybe even get inspired to visit places that feel like they’re calling out to them,” he says.
Talking about how he began his YouTube channel, he says, “Initially, the purpose was to clear my name. I was done with the baseless accusations, and I needed to do this—for myself and for my family. But that chapter is now closed. I’ve since transitioned into a phase of healing, and the channel has become a part of that journey.” Ask him what is the USP of the channel, and he says, “The biggest USP is that I’m not a trained actor—so everything I share comes straight from the heart. It’s raw, it’s real, and there’s no scripted “entertainment logic” behind it. I think that’s why people connect so deeply with me—they see a part of themselves in my story.”
He adds, “There’s a lot of exciting content on the way. I’ll be stepping into acting and creating opportunities for talented actors to collaborate on meaningful and engaging concepts.” Talking about creating content, he says, “Honestly, I haven’t really faced any challenges—mainly because I’m not in competition with anyone. I’m just enjoying the journey and growing with it. I plan to explore some really interesting ideas and formats. I’m genuinely excited to see where this path takes me.”
