Rangrasiya (Colors)- Though the show centered around the love-hate relationship of Rudra and Paro, the also depicted Rudra as a dedicated army officer who killed Paro
Hindustani (Doordarshan)- Written and directed by Puneet Issar, this Doordarshan show was based on the story of a police commissioner, who served the country in his own way even after his retirement.
Tujhpe Dil Qurbaan (Sony TV)- Another show based on army life, this show is the story of Vikram, an intelligent officer on training.
2612 (Life OK)- This show revolved round the plan of a terror attack and the how the special task force tries to stop the attack.
Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein (Star Plus)- It follows the journey of a young girl, who fights with terrorism and save the country from terror attack.
Sambidhan (Rajya Sabha TV)- Directed by Shyam Benegal, first of its kind, the mini-series is based on the making of the Indian constitution, which featured many noted actors like Sachin Khedekar, Utkarsh Majumdar, Tom Alter, Ila Arun, Rajendra Gupta and many more.
Pukaar (Life OK)- Based on the Army backdrop the show depicts the life of Mojor Rajveer played by VJ Rannvijay and the story of the pride of an Army officer.
Naadan Parindey Ghar Aaja (Life OK)- Set in the army backdrop this show depicts the life of family living at the border and how their life changes when their son Sameer joins the Indian Army.
Left Right Left (SAB TV)- This popular SAB TV show which featured many known personalities of television was about six young and confused cadets of the Army academy and their journey to transform into the best cadets of the academy.
Fauji (DD National)- This 1989 TV series was about a batch of trainee commandos of Indian Army, which featured Bollywood Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan along with actors like Rakesh Sharma, Amina Shervani, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Vikram Chopra and many others.
 Chhoona Hai Aasmaan (Star One)- Another show centering around the life of six young Air Force officers who formed a team called the HAWKS and their aim was to save the country from terrorist attacks.
Time Bomb 9/11 (ZEE TV)- The show drew its inspirations from some real life terrorist groups and their attempt to destroy the capital of India, as well as assassinating the Prime Minister and how the Indian intelligence agency protect the country from the attack.
24 (Colors)- One of the path breaking shows of Indian television was based on the 24 hours of an officer of the Anti terrorist Unit and the challenges he faced.
Powder (Sony TV)- The story was about a honest team of Narcotics Control Bureau and their fight against drug peddlers, one of the alarming problems threatening Indian society.
Pradhanmantri (ABP News)- The political documentary directed by Shekhar Kapur presented the audience with the changes in the country during the tenures of 13 Indian Prime Ministers in the last 65 years.
Saara Akaash (Star Plus)- Saara Akaash revolved around the five young air force pilots, who recently completed their training and joined the force as officers.
I Luv My India (SAB TV)- The story is based on a NRI family, which has been far away from Indian culture and India, is suddenly forced to come back and adjust to Indian setting.
Param Vir Chakra (Doordarshan)- Directed by Chetan Anand, the show depicted the life of winners of Param Vir Chakra gallantry award, India's highest military honour and tale of their gallantry.
