MUMBAI: Amid the murder investigation, the family of the singer has requested that the press not attribute 'appeals' to the family until it has come directly from his family. They also added that they would make all the appeals to connection with the above-sighted case only through his Instagram account.

The investigation of Sidhu Moose Wala's murder, who was shot dead on May 29 is going on in full swing. Sharing the note in Punjabi on Sidhu's Instagram, the family stated, "We request the media that whatever the appeal made on behalf of Sidhu veer’s family, it will be done via Sidhu’s official Instagram handle. We request you to not associate any statements under the name of the family’s appeal."
Sidhu Moose Wala's funeral was attended in huge numbers by his fans and admirers. His father was seen weeping at the funeral. His father had urged people to join Moose Wala's family Bhog ceremony on June 8.
In a recent development, the Punjab police arrested another suspect on Sunday night. A team of Punjab Police and Delhi Police has also issued a lookout for the night shooters from the Lawrence Gang, who emerged as the suspect in the case.
