Singer-rapper Honey Singh has managed to impress millions with his songs and talent and is amongst the most successful singers in the Punjabi and Hindi Music industry. He is known for songs like, Blue hai Pani Pani, Chaar Botal Vodka, Lungi Dance, Blue Eyes among many others.

He has finally broken all ties with his wife Shalini Talwar after their divorce was accepted in the court. His wife had filed a domestic violence case against the singer and his family and Shalini had also accused the singer of adultery and filed for a divorce.

The court gave them some to rethink but it seems like both of them were firm on what they want to do with their future. For those unaware, the ex-couple knew each other for 17 years and were lovers for a long time before they tied the knot on January 23, 2011.

Reportedly, the couple is officially divorced now and both seem content with the decision. Alimony was amongst the first intriguing questions and if reports are to be believed, the singer paid a whopping sum of Rs. 1 crore to Shalini in alimony, during the court proceeding.

In August 2021, their divorce news made headlines and it was reported back then that Shalini demanded a sum of 10 crores in alimony and reflecting upon her marriage, she had stated in court that she was subjected to cruelty like that of a farm animal.
