The actress nailed it in Thangalaan, where she played a very challenging role that required immense physical and mental strength. Malavika was involved in intensive physical prep, she trained herself for MMA and combat. And now, post the success of Thangalaan, the actress is gearing up for yet another challenging role in her upcoming Sardar 2.

Moreover, Malavika had also expressed her excitement about working on the new project when the makers announced her involvement in Sardar 2. She said, “Best start to my birthday week! So excited to announce my next project in Tamil! That too with this fantastic team! Can’t wait to get started on this one!”
Apart from Sardar, Malavika will also be seen in 'The Raja Saab' alongside Prabhas.
