MUMBAI : Last year, we saw some Pan-India movies like Adipurush, Leo, Animal and Jawan, Pushpa: The Rise, RRR, KGF: Chapter 2 and many more. These Pan-India movies took over the theatres by storm as the audience fell in love with the movies and the actors.
Just like last year, even this year we will get to see some big names in Pan-India South movies. Last year, Pushpa: The rise fetched a National Award to Allu Arjun and this year he is coming back with the second instalment of the movie.

Indian 2 directed by S. Shankar and starring Kamal Haasan, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Nedumudi Venu, Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh. This is the sequel to the 1996 movie Indian and it’s going to be an action-packed movie where an Indian freedom fighter turns into a vigilante to fight against corruption. It’ll be interesting to watch the movie this time and it is reported to be released on 11th April.
Thangalaan

Starring Vikram, Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu and Pasupathy, this Pa. Ranjith's directorial movie is sure to grab everyone’s attention as Chiyaan Vikram comes back for another action movie and this time it’s going to be a historical action movie. The movie is said to be based on true events and the story will revolve around the lives of mine workers in the Kolar Gold fields of Karnataka. The movie is set to be released on 12th April.
Kalki 2898 AD

Directed by Nag Ashwin, this epic science-fiction dystopian movie stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Dulquer Salmaan, Disha Patani and many more. The movie is said to be based on Hindu scriptures and the timeline is also reported to be set between the Mahabharata times and 2898 AD. The movie is set to be released on 9th May.
Pushpa 2: The Rule

Once again we will get to watch Allu Arjun in action and the audience are excited since the time his first look was out. The movie is directed by Sukumar and while the first instalment of the movie showed the emergence of Pushpa, this movie will show the period of his rule. Along with Allu Arjun, we will also get to watch Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Priyamani and many more. The movie is set to be released on 15th August.
Devara: Part One

This Koratala Siva directorial is going to be marked as the South movie debut of Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. The audience earlier got to watch a glimpse of Jr. NTR’s action and got excited. This is going to be an epic action saga against the coastal lands and will be released on 10th October.
Kantara 2

Kantara surprised the audience as Rishabh Shetty took the centre stage. The actor gave an amazing performance and he is set to come back with the second instalment, a prequel to the first instalment. The announcement video gained a lot of love and attention. The movie is reported to release this year but the official release is yet to be revealed.
