MUMBAI : Rithika, popularly known as Tamil Selvi, is a well-known actress from Tamil TV who made her breakthrough in the Vijay television show Baakiyalakshmi. She just announced the happy news that she's pregnant. With the adorable caption "Coming Soon," Rithika shared a picture of herself with a pregnancy kit and kid's toys. Fans and other small-screen celebs are congratulating her on her success.

She took on the role of Amrita in the serial Baakiyalakshmi which aired on Vijay TV. She starred alongside Ezhil in the series and also showcased her cooking skills as a contestant on Cook with Komali. Rithika joined the second season of the show as a wild card contestant.
In the 2018 show Raja Rani, Rithika made her on-screen debut as Vinothini. She demonstrated her talent in 2021 as a contestant on the well-liked comedy cooking show Cooku With Comali. She also made appearances in several special shows all year long. Rithika also tried her hand at reality programs, placing first runner-up in Nammavar Kamal, Comedy Raja Kalakkal Rani, and Start Music (season 2).
In 2022, as viewers began to make Baakiyalakshmi more famous, Rithika fell in love with businessman Vinu Narayan. They were congratulated by several celebrities at a lavish reception in Chennai after they were married in a modest ceremony in Kerala.
Rithika shocked everyone last year by abruptly quitting her part in a show. Rithika continued to appear in serials even after getting married. Rithika is no longer playing the role of Amrita in the show; Akshita has taken over her role.
Rithika is still active on social media, posting pictures and videos frequently, even after leaving the serial. She recently spent Valentine's Day in Agra, where she posed for a picture in front of the Taj Mahal that went viral very fast.
In Baakiyalakshmi, Akshitha Ashok was selected to take Rithika Tamil Selvi's position. Leading roles in the show, which was an adaptation of the Bengali serial Sreemoyee, went to Reshma Pasupuleti, Sathish Kumar, and KS Suchitra Shetty. Rajyalakshmi, Vikash Sampath, Velu Lakshmanan, Divya Ganesh, VJ Visha, and Rithika Tamil Selvi had minor roles in the ensemble cast. The show is directed by Siva Sekar and I David, and focuses on the lives of Baakiya, a loving mother, wife, and daughter-in-law. Baakiya managed difficulties in juggling her responsibilities to her family, such as her husband Gopinath's extramarital romance with Radhika.
