MUMBAI: Harman Baweja led Baweja Studios is set to make its Tamil cinema debut in collaboration with Stonebench Films, which is founded by one of the industry’s most inventive filmmaker, Karthik Subbaraj along with Kaarthekeyen S. The power-packed partnership between Baweja Studios, Stone Bench Films, Emberlight Studios, and Sasi Naga will bring to life the much-anticipated ‘Perusu’ Directed by acclaimed Sinhalese director Ilango Ram.
‘Perusu’ promises to be a laughter riot, starring Vaibhav Reddy, Niharika NM, Sunil, Chandini , Redin Kingsley, Karunakaran in key roles and is releasing on 14th March.
This collaboration comes hot on the heels of Baweja Studios' recent success with ‘Mrs’, the critically lauded Sanya Malhotra starrer. With a commitment to content-driven cinema, Baweja Studios is making a calculated and exciting foray into Tamil films, backing projects with strong narratives, fresh storytelling, and cultural resonance.
The collaboration between Baweja Studios and Stone Bench Films, by the visionary Karthik Subbaraj is a cinematic match made in heaven.
