MUMBAI : Sirish Bharadwaj, the late son-in-law of Chiranjeevi, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, after a prolonged illness. According to a Zee Telugu report, Sirish had been unwell for a while and passed away following his hospitalization in Hyderabad.

Actress Sri Reddy used Facebook to share the news and express her sorrow over Chiranjeevi's departure. It has been claimed that she has a strained relationship with his family.
Sri shared an old picture of Sirish with Sreeja, Chiranjeevi's daughter, and their daughter Nivrithi writing, "(Chiranjeevi ex alludu) sirish bharadwaj is no more," the writer stated. At least you can finally rest in peace, Sirish Bhardwaj. everyone cheated on you raa. "Rest in peace, Sirish," she continued.

Media sources state that Sirish passed away while being treated for a medical condition at a Gachibowli, Hyderabad, private hospital. A statement from the hospital and the family is still pending.
At Hyderabad's Arya Samaj, Sreeja Konidela (19) eloped and wed Sirish (22). Speaking to the media following the wedding, she stated that her family was 'threatening' her and that she was looking for safety.
She requested police protection from her father and married Sirish against the wishes of her family. Chiranjeevi claimed that Sirish was a "child" when she married him and filed a kidnapping suit against him.
In 2008, the couple gave their daughter the name Nivrithi. Sreeja separated from Sirish and his family in 2014 after filing a dowry harassment allegation against them in 2011.

Later, in 2016, Sreeja wed Kalyaan Dhev in front of their family. But in 2022, the pair called it quits. Their daughter, Navishka, is theirs.
In the meantime, Chiranjeevi's most recent film appearance was as Manjunatha/Lord Shiva in Sri Manjunatha (2021). He has also performed the Telugu narration of Ponniyin Selvan: II in 2023.
